Try Andy's Tri

We had our first race report quite early this morning directly from Jennifer Gerard who tackled the swim with her best swim time yet (6:58) and biked a solid bike averaging 21.3 mph for this flat 10 mile course.   Jennifer claimed 8th in her age group with an 8:44 running pace and an overall time of 1:05.

• This was the 18th Annual AMICA Try Andy’s Tri
• The race has sold out since August 3rd, closing the event to further registration and topping it off at 850 participants, 50 more than last year.
• 30% of the field at this race is usually composed of first timers who get a First TRI medal from AMICA Insurance at the finish line.
• The Race Director, Andy Stewart, was Junior High PE Teacher to Michelle LeBlanc and her brother, Sean Truesdale, over 25 years ago.
