Sheri O'Keefe and Ana Lemus at Silverlake
in the new OutRival Racing T-Shirts
In the Silverlake Sprint Triathlon down in Pearland this Sunday, all three athletes made the podium!
- Mindy Reich won the W45-49 age group with a strong 5K run at 7:23 pace. This was Mindy's first open-water triathlon... mission accomplished, Mindy!
- Sheri O'Keefe won the W50-54 age group despite have a bike malfunction that slowed her down a couple minutes. She biked 21 mph and ran 7:58 pace!
- Ana Lemus finished second place (4 seconds from first, ahh shucks!) in the W35-39 division with one of her best swims ever. Ana had the fastest swim and bike splits (over 21 mph) in her age group as well as a solid run split for an overall great finishing time.
Note: Not only did they race awesome, but they looked great doing it (see photos above :)
Holly Mishoe had a great race at the Houston Metro Crit near downtown. She was able to get in a small breakaway and hung on for fifth place overall out of 20+ female riders.
