CINCO RANCH TRIATHLON

The Cinco Ranch Triathlon is a local triathlon with a long history and it is a lot of fun. The event was re-scheduled after Hurricane Ike hit in September. The swim was quite cold, and the bike wasn't much warmer. I was able to start with the first wave and came out fourth in the water. After fumbling with my shoes because my hands were frozen, I hopped on my bike and started hammering. I quickly biked to second place, and then remained there for the remainder of the race. Dean King won race overall... man thay guy can run! FSR member Lisa Tilton-McCarthy finished second female with a great run split. And Richard MacNamee, a coach for Finish Strong Coaching, finish third overall. Go Richard!

The crowds were great and the community was so welcoming. I would definitely recommend this race to others!
