Congrats to some great racing by husband and wife, Kathy and Terry Garrett! Kathy has raced in two Cat 4 Road Races in the last two weekends, and had tough but good races in both of them! Kathy raced the Wahlburg and La Primavera Road Races near Austin.
Terry Garrett raced the 3-15-3 Springsback Duathlon near Austin last weekend. This was the 48-year old's second-ever duathlon and finished third overall! Terry had the second fastest run splits of the day at 19:46 and 20:18 for the first and second 5Ks. He biked off-course for a few minutes (not his fault?!) and still was able to have a solid 36:38 bike split. Way to race!
Congrats to Kathy and Terry! Looking forward to the rest of the season!
