Jennifer Gerard raced the Du the Bear at Bear Creek Park this last wekend for the second year in a row, finishing 7th in her age group with a total time of 1:05:52. She shaved off more than 10 minutes to her time on her first appearance last year. Her running splits were 14:54 (7:27 pace) and 16:35 (8:18 pace). She covered the 10 miles of the bike in 32:01with an 18.7mph average. NICELY DONE!
And O’keefe brings home another AG win! With a 7:09 average pace on the first 2 miles, a rocking 20.4 mph average on the bike and a 7:34 average pace for the last 2 miles, she claimed first place once more. 1:00:07 was her total time spotting her in the top 10 overall females of this race.
