Tejas Sprint Tri, Grandman, and Heights 5K

OutRival Racing athletes had some spectacular races this last weekend!

Adam Currier raced the Heights 5K in a blazing 18:51! His 6:05 pace was fast enough to put him on the podium for his age group in third place.

Derek McCoy had a good race at the Grandman Sprint Triathlon in Alabama. He swam a third of a mile in 9:28, biked 18 miles in 20.2 mph, and ran a solid 5K run pace for a total time of 1:48:12. This put Derek 16th out of 39 in his age group.

Tejas Results:
Allison Eden not only won her 15-19 age group, but she was one of the faster women of the day at the Tejas Sprint Triathlon in Sugar Land, Texas. Allison swam the 600 yard open-water course in 11:10, biked 19.2 mph for the 11 mile bike, and ran 8:19 pace for the 3 mile run. Total time = 1:12:34

Ana Lemus finished a strong 10th out of 31 competitors in the 35-39 age group. She swam super fast in 11:13, biked 20.3 mph, and ran 9:32 pace. Total time- = 1:14:57

Tania Hendy completed her first triathlon in over a year (and she just decided Friday night to enter this race!). She finished with a 12:29 swim, 19.2 mph bike, and 10:07 run pace. Tania finished in the top half of the 35-39 age group. Total time= 1:20:06.

Mindy Reich finished 4th in the 45-49 age group with the fastest run and third fastest bike. She swam 15:05, biked 19.9 mph, and ran 7:47 pace. Total time = 1:14:21

OutRival Racing coach, Sheri O'Keefe, won her age group with the fastest bike split, second fastest run split, and third fastest swim split in her age group. She swam 11:46, biked 20.5, and ran 8:05 pace! Total time = 1:10:08. She also got got rewarded at the start with the announcer's sweet comments. ;-)
