Congrats Lisa, Sheri, Dave, and James

Several coached athletes had great races at the New Orleans 70.3 race this last weekend.

Sheri O'Keefe, from the Woodlands, finished in 5:43, which is one of her best performances in a half-ironman. She had her best bike split ever with an average of over 20 mph on the bike.
Lisa Jaster, from New Orleans, finished her first half ironman with grit and determination. She, too, had a fantastic bike split! Next up for Lisa is the Racing 70.3 in a couple of months.
Dave Lee, from Houston, is a seasoned triathlete who finished NOLA by digging deep the last few miles. His busy scheduled hasn't allowed him to swim much, yet he still cranked out a great swim time! Next up for him is Alcatraz and Hyvee.
Cat 5 Cyclist James Engle had a great race at the Mineral Wells Stage Race. He finished 6th on the GC, and had a 4th place finish on the Stage 2 Time Trial. All three stages were done in the rain, none-the-less!

Congrats athletes on a great weekend of racing!
Next up are the races at the Lonestar event this weekend in Galveston. Adam Currier, Derek McCoy, Ana Lemus, Jorge Lemus, Mindy Reich, Cassandra Mays, Lori Culberson, Kim Bradley, Allison Eden, and Raul Luzardo are coached athletes who are racing this weekend. Karen Maldonado, who races on the Mark Allen racing team, is competing in the half-ironman this weekend as well. Holly Mishoe and James Engle are racing the Cold Spring Road Race on Saturday. Good luck everyone!!!
